On behalf of Gung Ho we’d like to advise that if we have gifted you with product(s) from our fashion, lifestyle or sports clients, this has been gifted without expectation.  

 

This means that you are not obliged to share coverage online in exchange for acceptance of the gifted item(s).  

 

If you do choose to share the gifted item(s) on your personal social channels, pleasure ensure that you are complying with the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). Please see guidance here.  

 

We therefore advise that you also declare that the items have been gifted by the relevant brand and ensure that AD is shown clearly at the beginning of your post, story or reel.  

 

By accepting the gifted item(s), you grant the relevant client the licence to repost content featuring the item(s) on one or more of their social channels.  

 

We would also advise against infringing on material belonging to a third party in your content, including but not limited to including brand logos, or commercial audio that you do not have the license to use.  

 

Please note, if the gifted item(s) are not suitable, we would advise against disposing of or selling and instead contact us at Gung Ho to help organise a return or exchange.
